Hybrid Infrastructure Network Monitoring Services
Splitpoint Solutions monitors on-premises infrastructure, public cloud and the WAN links between them from a single platform. MIVU deploys agentlessly and delivers usable data inside the first hour — with our team running it around the clock if you want the outcome without the operational load.
Benefits of Hybrid Network Monitoring
Hybrid estates split visibility across an on-premises NMS, a cloud console and an SD-WAN dashboard. Hybrid network monitoring puts all three on one timeline, so a problem can be traced end to end instead of guessed at.
Unified Hybrid Visibility
On-premises devices, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud environments, and every WAN link in one live topology map.
One Platform, Full Coverage
SNMP polling, NetFlow and IPFIX collection, and cloud API metrics in a single tool — no second licence for the cloud side.
Proactive Detection
Alerts fire on deviation from what is normal for that link at that hour, not on a static threshold set two years ago.
Security Monitoring
Continuous audit logging and traffic anomaly detection across both environments, with no packet payloads captured.
What Splitpoint Monitors Across Your Hybrid Estate
Splitpoint Solutions’ MIVU covers the full path, not just one segment of it. Every layer below is polled, collected, or measured natively on the same timeline.
On-Premises LAN and Data Centre
Switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, hosts and virtualisation via SNMP v1, v2c and v3 — with interface-level utilisation, error counters and automatic topology mapping.
Public Cloud
AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud through read-only API roles: VPC and VNet flow logs, transit gateways, load balancers, and Direct Connect or ExpressRoute circuits.
WAN and SD-WAN Links
Every underlay measured separately — MPLS, broadband and LTE failover — with tunnel state and path-selection events logged as they happen.
Applications and Users
Synthetic transactions and real user measurement for the applications that cross the hybrid boundary, run from the locations your people actually work.
How It Works
Get started with hybrid network monitoring in four steps. Most teams have a working dashboard the same day.
Deploy a Collector
A lightweight virtual machine or container — one on-premises, one per cloud region. No agents on monitored devices.
Connect Your Sources
SNMP credentials, flow export pointed at the collector, and a read-only cloud role. Outbound TLS on port 443 only.
Auto-Discovery Maps the Estate
MIVU walks the network, identifies every device and interface, and builds the topology — typically in 30 to 60 minutes.
Baselines and Alerting
Seven days of data teaches MIVU what normal looks like for each link, so alerts reflect real deviation instead of guesswork

Secure Hybrid Network Monitoring
We monitor hybrid networks across cloud and on-premises environments without touching sensitive data. Here is exactly what that means.
Encrypted End to End
TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest. Collector traffic is outbound-only, so no inbound firewall rule is required.
No Packet Payload Capture
MIVU collects metrics, counters and flow metadata. It never captures payloads and holds no customer or application data.
Data Residency You Control
Collectors process locally. You choose whether aggregated metrics leave your network at all, and which region stores them.
Complete Audit Logging
Every login, configuration change and alert acknowledgement is logged with a user and timestamp, and exportable for audit.
Trusted by leading companies across industries
Why teams
choose
Splitpoint
Built to give your team complete visibility and control over the systems that matter.
See everything in one place
Eliminate blind spots. Monitor network, infrastructure and applications together, instead of stitching together separate tools.
Find the root cause faster
Move from guessing to knowing. Trace an issue across the stack and fix it before it reaches your users.
Built for enterprise scale
Designed to handle high-volume environments without slowing down or losing detail.
Your data, your control
Analyse, troubleshoot and report on your own terms, with full access to the underlying data.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started with Splitpoint Solutions.
What is the difference between hybrid network monitoring and standard network monitoring?
Standard tools monitor one environment, usually on-premises devices over SNMP. Hybrid network monitoring adds public cloud telemetry and the WAN links between them, and correlates all three on one timeline. That difference matters when a problem crosses the boundary — which in a hybrid estate is most of them.
Do I need to install agents on my devices?
No MIVU is agentless. Network devices are polled over SNMP, flow is exported to the collector, and cloud environments are read through a provider API role. Optional agents are available where deeper endpoint detail is needed.
How long does deployment take?
Collector install to the first useful dashboard is typically under an hour. Auto-discovery of a mid-size estate takes 30 to 60 minutes, and behavioural baselines complete after seven days of data.
Can MIVU monitor multiple cloud providers at once?
Yes. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud run side by side in one view alongside on-premises infrastructure, with a collector per region.
How is MIVU priced?
Per monitored device, with volume tiers. The managed option adds a monthly service fee per site. Cloud monitoring and flow analysis are included rather than charged separately.
What if we already have a monitoring tool?
Most estates that adopt MIVU keep at least one existing tool. MIVU forwards to ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Slack and syslog and exposes a REST API, so it can sit alongside what you run rather than replacing it on day one.
Our applications are slow but our dashboards are green. Where do we start?
That gap — device counters healthy while users experience degradation — is a path and user-experience measurement problem. Our page on hybrid network performance issues covers where hybrid estates actually degrade and how to confirm the cause.
